Wildebeest migration + Ngorongoro rim camp

We set off after lunch a bit disappointed that we hadn't seen any lions or cheetah (though Camilla and I had seen these in Kenya). But we had barely left the campsite when we came across a stopped vehicle and, following the gaze of the people in that, what should we see but four lion cubs, presumably left while their mothers went hunting.

In the south Serengeti we again encountered the wildebeest and zebra migration, this time going right through the middle of it. Unfortunately with our tents packed on top it wasn't possible to put the roof up and we had to peer through the windows, but it was still an amazing spectacle.

We stopped at the park entrance, where we had drinks and relaxed for a while, and shortly after that we saw another lion, sitting under a tree in the distance.

Our campsite was a lovely green space right on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, with zebra wandering everywhere!
