Lake Manyara National Park, part 2:
elephants, insects, birds

We saw quite a number of elephants, browsing on the trees, as well as antelope and buffalo.

The National Park is a strip between the lake and the escarpment (where some lodges could be seen perched). We stopped at an elevated picnic place where there's a toilet.

Dinner was an excellent fish with potatoes. The showers weren't particularly clean and the campsite had a lot of people wandering around and didn't feel particularly secure (this was the only place on the trip where I worried about leaving stuff in an unlockable tent).
