Some rain. Fri looked at upper Leather Barrel Creek, explored rock piles to west, lunch (+swim) on Swampy Plains Creek. Then to West of Kos. to Wilkinson's vally (camped opposite southern tributary). Sat climbed Townsend (via Muller's pass) and Alice Rawson, descended to Lake Albina, climbed back to main track. Camped between Twynam and Little T. (X). Sun, Mt Tate to Rolling Ground (hot, flies), descended to Windy Creek (junction with side creek) (X - fly half-down in night, Vic fixed). Mon. Very windy, up Windy Creek, down Tate East Ridge, over ridge to Twynam Ck/Snowy junction, then walked up Snowy to Blue Lake? Ck junction before climbing over ridge to main track.
