| Monolith Valley: left Sydney 11am, Berry for lunch, Long Gully 4pm, caught in dark camped in cave half way to saddle (d); to Cooyoyo, set up tent/fly, to Monolith Valley, viewpoint north of Seven gods, great weather , a bit lost in marsh/heath, back to Cooyoyo (c); fog in morning, abandoned idea of climbing Castle, rainstorm, slow going down, stopped in Berry for coffee |

| Howling Dingo: hamburgers in Blackheath, ran over echidna, camped Boyd River; flat tire, drove to Oberon to get it fixed (only $25), had coffee, back to Uni Rover Trail, Misery Ridge (overshot a bit and had to sidle), Kowmung, camp (small site, fitted four just nicely); up Megalith Ridge, took longest route to road! |
